The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa, was established as an affiliated organization of the Japan Foundation in 1989. The Institute runs various programs under the three purposes of: human resources developing; developing and producing teaching resources, and providing information.

  1. Training programs for Teachers (Japanese Only)
    Consists of the data gathered in the "1998 Overseas Japanese-Language Education Organization Survey" conducted by the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa and its update.  Newly registered institutions receive Japan Foundation's newsletter, "Nihongo Kyoiku Tsushin," and publications on overseas Japanese language education free
