Delicious NIPPON



In recent years the popularity of Japanese cuisine has spread throughout the world; particularly in Europe and North America. In Asia, an increase in economic prosperity has given rise to a new and growing class of wealthy individuals with a taste for high quality Japanese cooking ingredients.

These trends represent a wonderful opportunity for Japan to promote and increase the export of its unique and high quality bounty of agricultural and seafood products to the world.

Delicious Nippon is an English language television series about Japanese cuisine, culture and cooking ingredients. Each program in the series will be broadcasted worldwide via NHK World and JIB-TV (Japan International Broadcasting Inc.) and will showcase various Japanese products with a dual purpose of deepening worldwide understanding of these products and enhancing export opportunities for Japan.

Broadcast schedule

Each instalment of “Delicious NIPPON”is being streamed on every Sunday and Monday (Pacific Standard Time) for eight consecutive weeks starting February 1st, 4:30PM | 5:00PM.
The program will be rebroadcast at 8:30PM, and on the following Monday at 12:30AM, 4:30AM, 8:30AM and 12:30 PM.
