Consul General’s Commendation Awarded to Mr. Oshu Go

    On April 22, 2016, at the reception for the 41st Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival held at the Seattle Center, Mr. Oshu Go was awarded the Consul General’s Commendation for his achievements in furthering Japan-U.S. relations.

          Through many years of service with the Port of Seattle, which is responsible for both the Northwest’s gateway seaport in Seattle and the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Mr. Go has worked to strengthen economic ties between Japan and Washington State. He has also made great contributions to the community as a board member of the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington, among other activities.

    The Consul General’s Commendation is awarded for outstanding achievement and contributions in the promotion of friendly relations between Japan and the United States.
