Visit by METI Parliamentary Vice-Minister Masaki Ogushi

On September 9 (Sat.), Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Mr. Masaki Ogushi visited the Boeing Company and held a meeting with Boeing Company Vice President Mr. Mark Jenks. Minister Ogushi visited the Boeing Everett Factory where Boeing 787 and 777 are manufactured as well as the Boeing Renton Factory where Boeing 737 is produced. Consul General Yoichiro Yamada and Consul Tadashi Yamamura accompanied the visit to the Boeing facilities.
  During the meeting with Mr. Jenks, they affirmed the deepening of cooperative ties with the Boeing Company in the enhancement of competitiveness of current and future airplanes.
