Japan-Seattle AI Meetup Event

On October 4 (Wed.), the Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle, the Washington State Department of Commerce, and Innovation Finders Capital co-organized an AI Meetup event. In Consul General Yoichiro Yamada’s opening remarks, he conveyed his hope for the deepening ties between Japan and Washington State’s AI and IT industries. Washington State Department of Commerce Director Brian Bonlender was delighted that the relationship between Japan and the State of Washington is becoming more active and expressed his ongoing support.
About 15 IT-related companies from Japan and 12 local start-ups were in attendance and discussed enthusiastically the future of AI and ICT technology between the two countries.
