2018 Japan Fair in Bellevue

Japan Fair 2018 was held at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA, on July 7 and 8.
Local groups had lectures, demonstrations, performances and booths on a variety of subjects, such as the tea ceremony, ikebana, calligraphy, martial arts, Taiko, and traditional and modern dance.
Exhibits and lectures related to Japanese tradition of "Tanabata" were also held at the fair. Many leaders from the Japanese community and former elected officials were present at the dinner reception held on July 7th.
The event included a booth where attendees could experience a variety of Japanese products.
The two-day event gave over 20,000 visitors the opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture and businesses.
