Japan Airlines launches new nonstop Seattle-Narita Service

After a 27-year absence, Japan Airlines launched new nonstop service between Seattle and Tokyo (Narita) on March 31. A ceremony for the inaugural flight (JL067) was held at Gate A13 of SeaTac airport, attended by Mr. Hideki Kikuyama, Senior Managing Executive Officer of JAL, as well as representatives from the Port of Seattle, Alaska Airlines and American Airlines. Representing the Consulate, Consul General Yamada delivered opening remarks.
Delta Airlines also launched new service between Seattle and Kansai on April 1.
We hope the addition of both these new routes will bring relations between Japan and Washington State even closer.
