The Consulate is seeking a well-qualified individual to serve as Driver/Administrative Assistant. This position is expected to start in January 2023.

3. Working Conditions
Working hours: 8:45 to 17:30 (with a one-hour break), Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays). Occasional overtime is expected, including evenings and weekends.
4. Expected Start Date
Date: January 4, 2023
* Two-year contract until March 31, 2025.
* The first three months will be a probationary period for employment.
* Contract renewal is based on an agreement between both parties.
5. Qualifications
- In possession of U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status in the U.S.
- Must have a valid government-issued photo ID
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Able to provide a driving record
- Able to provide a security clearance certificate (i.e. criminal record check)
- Able to take and pass a drug test
6. Core Responsibilities
80% Driving
- Transportation for Consulate-General business
- Transportation for visiting dignitaries
20% Administrative
- Assist with procedures for onboarding/off-boarding staff
- Assist with administration section duties
- Answer any inquires
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the Consulate-General
The above percentages are subject to change depending on the workload in the office.
7. Job Requirements
1) Accuracy and skill in driving (experience as a professional driver preferred)
2) Resourcefulness
3) Ability to perform duties when assisting visiting dignitaries
4) Able to contribute to the success of the organization and is a team player
5) Must be able to work overtime on occasion
6) Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 lbs. occasionally
